1826	Στο χωριό Μεχμέταγα της Αρκαδίας 400 Αιγύπτιοι συγκρούονται με ελληνική δύναμη υπό τους Χατζημιχαλή Νταλιάνη, Νικηταρά, Γιατράκο και Πορτογάλο Φιλέλληνα Αλμέιδα. Μετά από σκληρό αγώνα οι Αιγύπτιοι τρέπονται σε φυγή, εγκαταλείποντας 200 νεκρούς.
