Controversial Turkish Sufi scholar Ahmet Unlu, colloquially known as ‘Cubbeli Ahmet’, on Thursday night said he regretted praying for Ersin Tatar in advance of October’s Turkish Cypriot leadership election , while Tatar responded by saying he had no recollection of ever meeting him.
