Forty-five people were arrested on Sunday for residing illegally in the territory of the Republic, police said.
In a statement, the police said that members of the Aliens and Immigration Service conducted a coordinated operation across the country this morning, in the framework of the detection and arrest of persons residing illegally in the territory of the Republic.
During the operation, 45 persons were identified and arrested for the offence
