Person found dead in Strovolos field had been shot, autopsy shows

A person found dead in an open plot in Strovolos on January 6 had been shot with a single bullet, the police said on Friday.

Police responded to a call on Monday at 9.45pm that a body was in a plot in Strovolos.

The body was taken to the mortuary at Nicosia general hospital, where an autopsy was conducted on Friday.
