Cyprus’ gender pay gap stands at 10 per cent , gender equality commissioner Josie Christodoulou said on Thursday.
Speaking at an awards ceremony, she said that “gender discrimination remains in the workplace and stereotypes continue to categorise professions into ‘male-dominated’ and ‘female-dominated’, with the former being paid more”.
She added that there is “a lot of ground to cover” to work towards “equal pay and equality between women and men
