Smart street lights began to be installed in Paralimni , the Paralimni and Dherynia municipality announced on Friday.
The old street lights began to be replaced on Thursday with smart lights which use LED technology and consume less energy.
“This is a very important project that will save more than 65 per cent of electricity and will significantly improve and upgrade the street lighting services in the borough of Paralimni,”
