Τη δεκαετία του ’20, ο Ροντόλφο Βαλεντίνο αναγκάστηκε να πάρει δραστικά μέτρα ασφαλείας για να προστατευτεί από τις θαυμάστριές του. Έχτισε γύρω από την έπαυλή του τοίχο ύψους 3 μέτρων, τοποθέτησε τεράστιους προβολείς, ενώ τρία δανέζικα, δύο μολοσσοί κι ένα κυνηγόσκυλο, περιφρουρούσαν την αυλή του.
