
Cyprus was hit by another earthquake at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale, as reported by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to the centre, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 11 kilometres.
Just as with the previous earthquake, which struck the island earlier on Wednesday at 11:30 am, the epicentre was reported in the Paphos region.
So far, no reports of damages have been reported.
