
The first immobilisations of cars subject to a recall due to being fitted with potentially faulty airbags manufactured by Japanese company Takata and have not had their airbags replacedbegan on Friday.
Cars manufactured by Citroen, Ford and Jeep which were subject to the recall and have not had their airbags replaced have now officially had their road tax and MOT certificates rescinded, with an eight-month grace period allocated in February
