Igor Grechushkin, a 48-year-old Russian-Cypriot alleged to be linked to the 2020 Beirut port explosion, has reportedly been transferred to the Republic of Cyprus, where officials will decide whether he will face trial locally or be deported to Lebanon .
Grechushkin is said to have chartered the Moldovan-flagged MV Rhosus , which carried an estimated 3,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate that triggered the massive blast in Beirut. He was arrested
