
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has pardoned high-profile Egyptian-British activist Alaa Abd el-Fattah, along with five other prisoners, after a lengthy imprisonment and repeated hunger strikes that prompted international pleas for his release, his lawyer said on Monday.
