Workers at three hotels in Limassol went on a spontaneous strike on Friday morning.
Trade union Sek announced that workers at the Atlantica Miramare hotel, the Atlantica Oasis hotel, and the Atlantica Bay hotel have all engaged in a “short-term” strike, demanding the “full implementation of their collective agreement”.
“Despite repeated contacts with the company, there has been no progress, resulting in the employees reacting spontaneously,” Sek said.
