The European Commission’s proposal to at least double support to Cyprus for protecting its external borders was a key topic discussed here on Thursday between Finance Minister Makis Keravnos and Piotr Serafin, European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration.
The discussion also focused on the 2028–2034 Multi-Annual Financial Framework as well as on Cyprus’ preparations for assuming the presidency of the Council of the European Union in January 2026.
