Petroleum product sales in Cyprus rose by 7.7 per cent in July 2025 compared to the same month last year, reaching 144,790 tonnes, according to the statistical service (Cystat) .
The increase was largely driven by marine gasoil provisions, which surged by 270.3 per cent year-on-year. Aviation kerosene sales also strengthened, up by 13 per cent.
Other products that recorded annual growth included asphalt, which rose by 9.3 per cent,
