Clinching one of the most important gold medals in its history, Cyprus has returned triumphantly from the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI 2025), hosted in Bonn, Germany. Secondary school pupil Mariza Paspalli stood at the very top of the podium this year, bestowing on Cyprus a distinction that carried a message of hope and opportunity in Informatics for the new generations.
