A four-year-old child boy was pulled unconscious out of a hotel swimming pool in Paphos on Wednesday at around noon.
The police said the boy, on holiday in Cyprus with his parents, seems to have escaped their attention and entered the pool.
The boy was taken by ambulance to Paphos general hospital where he was intubated and then transferred to Nicosia general hospital due to the severity of his condition.
