A large, fast-moving wildfire broke out on Sunday afternoon in the Tsada area of Paphos, spreading within minutes and forcing road closures and a major firefighting operation.
Police announced that the road from Polis Chrysochous towards Paphos, at the Stroumbi area near Lemona, as well as the main Mesogi–Tsada road, have been closed to traffic.
Police are at the scene directing vehicles and implementing traffic diversions .
