The total value of bounced cheques issued in May 2025 rose to €62,164 , according to data released on Monday by the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC).
This marks an increase both from the previous month and from May of the previous year.
According to the CBC, 18 bounced cheques were issued in May 2025 with a combined value of €62,164.
By comparison, in April 2025, there were 23 bounced
