A 75-year-old man who suffered serious injuries Saturday while attempting to cross a road in the Larnaca district village of Ormidia while a charity cycle race was ongoing, died in hospital on Thursday, it was announced on Friday.
The man, named as Demetris Mavris, had been hit by an oncoming bicycle and was taken to the Larnaca general hospital, where he was diagnosed with a cerebral haemorrhage.
