Police and customs at Paphos airport seized almost 17 kilos of cannabis from an inbound passenger late Tuesday, they said.
The 23-year-old man who flew in from another European country was stopped by customs officers at around 9.30pm and had his bags searched.
Inside his luggage, police said they found two sealed packages which later weighed in at just over 16.7 kilos.
The man was arrested pending a court hearing.
