Electric and hybrid vehicles in Cyprus have gained a stronger foothold in the market during the first five months of 2025, according to official data released on Tuesday by the state statistical service.
Despite a 4 per cent decrease in overall vehicle registrations from January to May 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, the market share of electric and hybrid saloon cars experienced a fair mount of growth.
