Total beer sales from factories in Cyprus recorded a 4 per cent decrease in May 2025 compared to the same month last year, according to data released on Thursday by the Statistical Service (Cystat).
Domestic consumption dropped by 8 per cent, falling to 4,115,967 litres from 4,475,044 litres in May 2024.
Despite this decline in local demand, beer exports rose sharply by 83.9 per cent , reaching 381,641 litres compared
