Police carried out an operation aimed at combating sexual exploitation in Ayia Napa on Tuesday evening which led to the detection of nine cases of illegal work.
“Members of the Office for Combating Human Trafficking interviewed 31 individuals without any indications of their victimisation,” police said.
But, the investigation found nine cases of illegal work for which extrajudicial fines were imposed.
