A drop in unemployment figures, overall joblessness and youth unemployment was announced on Wednesday by President Nikos Christodoulides and Labour Minister Yiannis Panayiotou.
“ In absolute numbers, we had a decrease of 2,025 people, that is, from 5,221 to 3,196 ,” Christodoulides said as he went into a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
