The wooden roof of a house under renovation in Larnaca caught on fire, sustaining extensive damages, police reported on Friday.
In a post on Platform X, fire service spokesman Andreas Kettis said the fire happened shortly before 11am on Thursday and that staff with two vehicles from the Larnaca fire station responded.
The fire caused extensive damage to the wooden roof of the residence and water hoses and breathing apparatus
