Emergency crews were called back into action in the Limassol district as a fresh fire erupted on Saturday near the area of Ayios Sylas.
According to the fire service, the blaze started in dry vegetation and quickly spread due to strong winds. Ground and air forces were immediately deployed to bring the flames under control.
