Authorities were alerted on Thursday after a fire broke out at a secondary school in Nicosia.
The fire service received the call shortly after 6am and arrived at the scene accompanied by police officers to find a small fire in the school principal’s office.
The fire allegedly went out on its own and investigations are underway to determine how it started, with initial indications showing it was set maliciously.
