
Cyprus has taken in the sixth-highest proportion of Ukrainian refugees of any European Union member state , according to figures released by the EU’s statistical service, Eurostat.
In total, there are 23,090 non-EU citizens who fled Ukraine living in Cyprus, which corresponds to a rate of 23.9 per 1,000 people overall.
This figure is only bettered by the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Slovakia, and Estonia, with the Czech Republic’s rate
