New Kalavasos bridge too low, fire department wants it fixed

A bridge under construction in Kalavasos is too low, making it impossible for fire trucks to use the riverbed beneath to quickly access areas in an emergency.

Fire department spokesman Andreas Kettis confirmed the information on Monday, telling the Cyprus Mail that officers had visited the site more than once, accompanied by MPs and local authorities.
