Archbishop Georgios on Sunday promised continued cooperation with the new Pope Leo XIV .
“We are certain that we will continue the cooperation, because for us, the institution and not the person who represents it is what is important,” he said at an event to mark Mother’s Day, which is celebrated in Cyprus on the second Sunday in May.
