Temperatures inland are set to reach a high of 38 degrees Celsius on Saturday , as the latest run of hot weather reaches a crescendo.
On the south and east coasts, temperatures are expected to rise to 33 degrees Celsius, while temperatures are only expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius on the west and north coasts, and 27 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
