Larnaca municipality warned on Tuesday that fake QR codes have been placed by scammers on parking meters .
It said this has been going on for a few days.
The fake QR codes, with the inscription ‘scan to pay’, have been stuck on parking meters along Athenon avenue and other car parks with meters.
