A total of 1,970 packs of cigarettes and over 20 kilos of rolling tobacco were seized off two British tourists departing from Larnaca airport on Friday.
According to police the tobacco products did not bear any health warnings in Greek and Turkish, indicating they were not tax-free.
Both tourists were arrested upon the find with the content of their luggage seized by customs.
