Leaking gas cylinders which had caused a road closure and an electricity stoppage in the streets around the Hilton Park hotel in Engomi on Sunday have been safely removed, it was reported on Monday.
Nicosia Mayor Charalambos Prountzos said the cylinders had fallen into an excavated area next to the hotel after intense rains had caused a landslide.
