A passenger causing a disturbance on a flight from Gatwick to Larnaca was arrested by the police on Thursday.
The Easy Jet flight crew called in the incident and the obstreperous passenger was arrested by the police after landing, at around 10pm.
Cyprus News Agency sources said the crew decided to return the plane to Britain empty.
