A forest fire near a military shooting range in Sia, Nicosia, believed to have been caused by a rogue projectile , burned five acres of pine trees and bushes on Tuesday.
The fire was reported at 11am and was brought under control at 11.50am by the coordinated efforts of 36 forestry department firefighters with nine fire engines and an earth shifter.
