Vast quantities of statue fragments were found at the Sanctuary of Apollon at Frangissa site in the area of Pera Orinis, Nicosia district, after the completion of the 2024 excavation season of the Universities of Frankfurt and Kiel/Würzburg, conducted by Matthias Recke and Philipp Kobusch, with the aim of exploring the Sanctuary.
