The man who was arrested at Paphos airport on Friday after having been found to have swallowed cocaine with the intention of smuggling it into Cyprus had swallowed over a kilogram of cocaine, the police said on Wednesday.
The police announced that the “process of removing packages from his body” concluded on Wednesday at the Paphos general hospital, and that in total 72 nylon packages containing exactly 1.13kg of cocaine
