A large-scale police operation in Paphos on Friday night resulted in multiple arrests, the seizure of untaxed tobacco products, and several traffic violations. The operation, led by the district’s police chief, Kleitos Erotokritou, involved 60 officers from the Paphos police.
According to the assistant police director for operations, Michalis Nikolaou, the operation took place between 5pm and 11pm, aiming to prevent road accidents, tackle crime and strengthen public safety.
