A case of car arson overnight is being investigated by Limassol police on Friday.
The fire belonging to a 49=year-old broke out around 3am while the vehicle was parked in an open area, next to its owner’s home in Agios Athanasios.
The fire was extinguished firefighters who in subsequent examinations at the scene determined it had been started maliciously. The rear of the car was extensively damaged.
