A 12-year-old boy diagnosed with Influenza B died on Friday at the Makarios hospital .
The child had been hospitalised and was on Thursday admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the Makarios hospital as he developed complications on the advice of his paediatrician.
After he was taken to the ICU, it was decided to transfer him to a hospital in Israel , along with a medical team.
