Government doctors at Limassol general hospital that belong to the Pasyki union will suspend outpatient services as of Wednesday to protest over “unacceptable working conditions” caused by ongoing construction work, they announced on Tuesday.
The union cited excessive noise and pollution from the construction work, which is reportedly taking place directly above treatment areas, causing serious concerns for both medical staff and patients.
