The fire department announced on Wednesday that it will conduct a preparedness drill at Larnaca airport.
The drill concerns the potential need to extinguish of a chemical fire on site, at the Larnaca aviation fueling system (Lafs) outside the airport.
The exercise will take place on Thursday at 9am and fire trucks will be mobilised at the scene. There is no need for the public to be alarmed the fire
