Deputy Migration Minister Nicholas Ioannides travelled to Brussels on Tuesday to attend the EU Home Affairs Council meeting on Wednesday, where discussions will focus on internal security, geopolitical challenges and migration.
Key topics on the agenda include the regime change in Syria and the ongoing war in Ukraine .
The Council will also address the interconnection of infrastructure across the EU and the introduction of the new automatic Entry/Exit System
