Alpha Bank, Greece’s fourth largest bank by market value, upgraded its profit guidance on Friday after reporting a strong net profit for 2024 due to higher fee income and stable net interest income.
Alpha, which announced the acquisition of a small Cypriot bank on Thursday, reported normalized net earnings of 861 million euros ($894.23 million) last year, up 9.3 per cent from the 787.4 million euros in 2023.
