No potato shortage is projected at present, the potato producers’ association head Andreas Karyos said on Wednesday.
Speaking on CyBC, Karyos said potatoes will be more expensive in the next two to three months due to crop damages and losses from the unexpected frost seen over the past week.
He added that potato producers would contribute to the general loss recouperation fund that had been proposed to be set up.
