Cyprus has reaffirmed its commitment to Francophonie , Education Minister Athena Michaelidou said on Tuesday as a month of French speaking events kicks off.
The event holds special importance as Cyprus has recently become a full member of the international organisation of La Francophonie, Michaelidou said, which underscores the country’s dedication to the organisation’s core values: equality, solidarity, linguistic and cultural diversity, and dialogue among nations.
