Flying kites and drones near Larnaca and Paphos airports will be prohibited on Green Monday, March 3, due to the risks they pose to flight safety and air traffic.
Authorities have advised that kite flying, particularly in the areas around Larnaca airport, such as Aliki-Tekke, Makenzie Coast, Kiti and Perivolia, should be avoided on Green Monday which marks the start of Greek Orthodox Lent.
