Police on Monday are investigating the origins of a large sum of money found hidden at a Nicosia residence.
Following investigations, police arrested a 33-year-old woman for possession of illegal goods on Sunday, while she is also being investigated for money laundering.
Officers from the drug squad (Ykan) found a safe hidden in the bathroom of her home, containing €126,360 for which the 33-year-old could not provide adequate explanation.
