A total of four employers and four workers were arrested after it was found that they had been employed illegally and that they did not have residence permits to live in Cyprus, the police said on Friday.
The police said the arrests were made in central Nicosia on Friday as part of a “coordinated operation” involving the Nicosia municipality’s health services, the labour inspection department, and the tax office.
